Feature

### See every container’s logs in Console, and ask an agent what they mean

One tab for all your logs. One click to find the root cause with AI.

![See every container’s logs in Console, and ask an agent what they mean](https://platform.sh/static/9f80019a511c27e8fb73c8d6a726119d/modal_new_logs_2x_6884b73418.png)

Open the **Logs tab** on any environment to see application, service, access, cron and deployment logs from every container, collected automatically. Filter by kind, severity, service or unit, expand a line to see its structured context, and share the exact view by URL.\
When something breaks, narrow the logs to the window that worries you and **click Analyze**. Log Analyzer reads them with your Upsun configuration and recent deployments in context, then reports the errors, the likely cause and what to change. It runs as a task in your project on your own Anthropic or OpenAI key, and it recommends rather than edits.\
Available on Upsun Cloud projects in AWS and GCP regions, for contributors and admins. Read the [**Log Explorer docs**](https://developer.upsun.com/docs/observability/logs/log-explorer.md), and the [**Log Analyzer docs**](https://developer.upsun.com/docs/get-started/ai/upsun-cloud-log-analyzer-agent.md) to set up the agent.

Feature

### Choose when your services get updated

Set a maintenance window per project, and updates that need a restart wait for your chosen slot.

![Choose when your services get updated](https://platform.sh/static/f39806af221df793a449df74fa4ae2a9/model_maintenance_window_a826464da5.png)

Project admins can now set a **maintenance window** in Console: a weekday, a time, and a 2- or 4-week recurrence. Service updates that need a restart wait for it. If nothing is pending, nothing runs.

Production is updated first, other environments follow. Need to move a run? Reschedule it from the activity feed.

A maintenance window is required for zero-downtime deployments and can’t be turned off once set. See the [maintenance window docs](https://developer.upsun.com/docs/core-concepts/build-deploy.md#maintenance-window).

Feature

### Built-in S3-compatible object storage

Store large asset volumes directly on Upsun - fully managed and billed on your existing invoice.

![Built-in S3-compatible object storage](https://platform.sh/static/8b534ff6a6c38ee3e01e4805c920c870/modal_object_storage_b69b2e81ce.png)

Run asset-heavy applications on Upsun without an external storage provider. Add object storage like disk storage - from the Console or CLI.

**Object storage is now part of your Upsun platform:**

* No separate vendor - nothing external to set up or manage
* No rework - your existing S3 tools and SDKs work as-is
* No separate bill - it appears on your existing Upsun invoice
* Production-proven - already powering enterprise workloads, including ALDI

Lower-cost than disk storage for large volumes: €0.083/GB/month on allocated capacity (512 GB minimum). Available on Flex projects. \[[Read the docs →](https://developer.upsun.com/docs/manage-resources/object-storage.md)]

### Keeping your projects up to date just got easier

Upsun now flags runtimes and services that need upgrading, in the Console and deploy logs.

![Keeping your projects up to date just got easier](https://platform.sh/static/b19895aad77a870085beadf0c8cd58e5/modal_image_lifecycle_2x_5bf3add1a0.png)

Upsun now helps you keep your projects up to date. When a runtime or service you use is no longer fully maintained, a warning appears in the Console, on your project's Overview page, and in your deploy logs, so you see it in the browser and from your terminal.

Each warning tells you what the status means, how long you have, which version to move to, and links to the upgrade steps. We are rolling this out gradually, starting with Redis. See [Upgrade to a maintained version](https://developer.upsun.com/docs/core-concepts/upgrade-runtimes-services.md#image-statuses).

Feature

### Dynamic response compression

Compress your app's dynamic responses without writing any code, per location. Off by default.

![Dynamic response compression](https://platform.sh/static/9f4cb469506dcb7be573f329c5e91d33/model_dynamic_response_compression_b3e32d28ca.png)

Static files were already compressed, dynamic responses were not, so that work fell to your app runtime. The new `dynamic_compression` boolean under `web.locations` takes it off your hands.

Off by default. Turn it on per location, then opt out per rule on authenticated paths. Brotli or gzip is picked from `Accept-Encoding`.

It reintroduces the theoretical BREACH surface, so enable it only where your framework mitigates it. [Read the docs](https://developer.upsun.com/docs/configure-apps/image-properties/web.md#dynamic-response-compression).

Feature

### Find performance bottlenecks faster

Automatically analyze your profiling data and code to pinpoint root causes and rank issues by user impact.

![Find performance bottlenecks faster](https://platform.sh/static/12dff51083129c6a3be44d8e57a09a84/model_performance_agent_bd7dda3364.png)

An AI agent that correlates your application profiling, traffic, and source code, then tells you what to fix.\
The data to explain a slow endpoint is already there. Correlating a profile, your traffic, and the code to find the cause is the part that takes an afternoon.\
The Performance Agent reads Upsun Blackfire profiles, continuous profiling data, traffic, and your application source from a deployed environment. The report explains the root cause in plain language, ranks findings by impact on user experience, and includes a code diff.\
Read the [documentation](https://developer.upsun.com/docs/get-started/ai/upsun-performance-agent.md) to get started.

Feature

### Task containers are now available to all

Spin up ephemeral, API-triggered containers for run-once workloads, from batch jobs to AI agents.

![Task containers are now available to all](https://platform.sh/static/5e9817445168b00be110e2b784be9dbf/model_task_container_ga_02c730aba4.png)

Run-to-completion work, on demand.

Task containers bring a new way to run work on Upsun: ephemeral containers that spin up on an API trigger, run a command with full access to your environment's services, then shut down when the job is done. They handle any run-to-completion workload, from data migrations and report generation to batch processing, and they give background AI agents the isolated, on-demand compute they need.

Billed only while a task runs, with CLI and Console support. [Read the documentation to get started](https://developer.upsun.com/docs/configure-apps/tasks.md).

Feature

### Self-host Meilisearch on Upsun

Run Meilisearch on Upsun using its official public Docker image.

![Self-host Meilisearch on Upsun](https://platform.sh/static/cbf6e05fb109b9eea8c36efeffaab5af/modal_meilisearch_739fb1d5dc.png)

You can now deploy Meilisearch on Upsun using its official public Docker image.

[This is the first verified example](https://developer.upsun.com/docs/add-services/docker-images/docker-meilisearch.md) for self-hosted services from public Docker images. Upsun pulls the image from a public registry and runs it as-is, without requiring you to write a Dockerfile or maintain a build process.

You can run any public Docker image as a self-hosted service, making it easy to experiment with other tools and services beyond Meilisearch.

You remain responsible for the image version, maintenance, and security updates.

Feature

### Task containers, now in prerelease access

Run on-demand workloads in ephemeral, API-triggered containers. From batch jobs to AI agents.

![Task containers, now in prerelease access](https://platform.sh/static/4acf1b057e258ee9184aaea81891d2ba/modal_task_containers_9f915109cc.png)

Task containers are a new infrastructure primitive: ephemeral containers that spin up on an API trigger, run a command with full access to your environment's services, and shut down when done. They're built for any run-to-completion workload, from data migrations and report generation to batch processing.

Running isolated, on-demand code with scoped environment access, they're also a natural fit for background AI agents.

Available on Upsun Flex as a prerelease. Read [the documentation](https://developer.upsun.com/docs/configure-apps/tasks.md) to learn more and request access.
