# Integration overview

> Connect version control system, ticketing, notification, and AI model integrations to Upsun Dispatch.

Use **Settings > Integrations** to connect the external tools Upsun Dispatch uses with your organization.

Integrations are grouped by what they connect:

* **Version control system integrations** connect repositories and pull request or merge request activity.
* **Ticketing integrations** connect issue-tracking tools.
* **Notification integrations** send Upsun Dispatch notifications to external channels.
* **AI model integrations** are managed as organization model keys in [AI models](https://developer.upsun.com/dispatch/docs/models).

## Version control system integrations

Connect a version control system integration so Upsun Dispatch can receive repository events and publish workflow results back to your code host.

Version control system and ticketing integrations are independent. For example, a GitHub integration can be used with Jira or Linear as the ticketing integration for Issue to code.

## Ticketing integrations

Connect a ticketing integration so Upsun Dispatch can work with the issue tracker your organization uses.

## Notification integrations

Connect a notification integration so Upsun Dispatch can send workflow notifications to external channels.

## AI model integrations

Upsun Dispatch workflows also need an AI model integration key for your organization. AI model keys are managed separately from the Integrations settings page.

## Ignored authors

Use ignored authors to prevent automatic Code review runs from automation accounts that GitHub or GitLab do not classify as bots.

Configure ignored authors in **Settings > Integrations** for each source control integration. Add either:

* An exact username, such as `automation-user`
* A prefix wildcard, such as `renovate*`, to match usernames that start with that prefix

Ignored authors only suppress automatic reviews. Explicit manual review requests still work.
